Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction. Expect major delays the week of May 5 due to pavement removal operations. Flaggers are present in work areas, follow signs and directions. Follow speed limits and stop signs when traveling on local streets, watch for pedestrians.
Xcel Gas is replacing a gas main on the northbound side of the roadway and the lane is closed to traffic. Local residence and business driveways will be accessible from the southbound lane. The work is expected to complete late May.
Road reconstruction has not started.
Edgewood Drive will be fully open May 5. Work will begin on County Road I the week of May 5, and will be closed on the west side of Mounds View Boulevard for utility and concrete work until mid-May. Follow the Silver Lake Road detour. Expect delays during heavy traffic. Watch for workers and slow traffic. Use alternative routes when possible.
The Arlington Avenue intersection with Rice Street is open.
Rice Street is closed from Nebraska Avenue to Wheelock Parkway for utility and road reconstruction and is closed from Ivy Avenue to Cottage Avenue for bridge work.
To access local businesses, use Arlington Avenue, Montana Avenue and other posted local streets and detours. Slow down and watch for workers and your neighbors walking and crossing the road.
