I support Georgiana May for Falcon Heights City Council

I am pleased that on Nov. 4, I can vote for Georgiana May for Falcon Heights City Council. As the chair of the city’s State Fair Task Force, I have had the pleasure of working with Georgiana since 2023. She is prepared, organized and willing to work with others in matters of significant interest to Falcon Heights residents, such as improving our quality of life during the State Fair. Georgiana helped gather data and create a model for the pay-by-mobile parking program implemented during this year’s Fair.

Georgiana also serves on the Environment Commission, helps organize her neighborhood Block Party, and maintains a plot in the Community Garden. In addition, she served on the Climate Action Team and Community Engagement Commission.

I like knowing that Georgiana will apply her work experience as a University of Minnesota professor of evolution and ecology to gather the data needed and follow her heart to make good decisions and guide our city forward.
