LWVSP hosts candidate forums

As Minnesota voters gear up for the upcoming election, the League of Women Voters St. Paul (LWVSP) is proud to announce its 2024 candidate forum schedule. For over a hundred years, the League has provided high-quality, nonpartisan, fact-based information on candidates and issues to help voters make informed decisions. LWVSP is partnering with the Saint Paul Neighborhood Network (SPNN) to hold these forums, which are free and open to the public, at SPNN’s studio in St. Paul’s Midway. The forums will feature candidates for seats in the State House and on the Ramsey County Board.

In an era of increasingly national politics, these forums offer a unique opportunity for St. Paulites to engage directly on local issues with those who seek to represent them. All forums can be viewed live on Channel 19 and will be posted on SPNN’s YouTube channel, as well as the LWVSP website (lwvsp.org). 

We invite the public to submit questions for candidates via email at lwvstpaul@lwvmn.org or in person at the event. Whether attending in person or viewing online, the LWVSP encourages all residents to participate actively in our local elections.

  • Date: Sept. 17, 2024

  • Time: 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

• Ramsey County Commission District 3 Candidate Forum

  • Date: Sept.18, 2024

  • Time: 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

  • Location: SPNN TV Studio, 550 Vandalia Street, Suite 170, St. Paul, MN 55114

• Minnesota House Districts 66A and 66B Candidate Forum

  • Date: Sept. 26, 2024

  • Time: 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
