WFNU Frogtown Community Radio celebrated 10 years on the FM dial on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026. The station launched on 94.1 FM in 2016 with a handful of volunteers, a simple setup and a mission to amplify the voices of Saint Paul. Today, WFNU broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week with more than 85 volunteers and 60 locally produced shows sharing community news, music, culture, stories, and conversation. Philip Gracia, co-founder of Frogtown Tuned-In, Inc. and co-director of WFNU Frogtown Radio, pointed out that the station’s growth, and its role in the Frogtown and broader Saint Paul community, shows why community-powered media continues to matter. The celebration coincided with the 4th Annual Rondo Block Party, taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the nearby Rondo Commemorative Plaza.
